File Chore is designed for the least creepy version of paid file utilities: no ad pixels, no analytics cookies, and no account required for one-off tools unless a future product explicitly needs one.

Files

Individual tools may temporarily store uploaded files so checkout, processing, recovery, and download can survive page reloads or Stripe redirects. Tool pages state their specific retention window. The default target is deletion after 1 hour.

Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe. File Chore and its tools do not store card numbers. Stripe may use its own checkout, fraud-prevention, and receipt technology.

Support surface

Support is self-serve first. Paid tools use the Stripe success URL and receipt as the recovery surface within the tool's retention window.

Cookies and tracking

File Chore does not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or external tracking scripts. Stripe Checkout may use cookies or similar technology during payment.
